Identity: Eleven-year-old; middle-class [-50] Pureblood [-100] Slytherin
Skills and additional powers: Occlumency [-100], clean-blooded, wandless magic [-300], memory spell specialist [-100], nonverbal specialty [-200], metamorphmagus [-400]
Gear: Pet owl
Setbacks: Werewolf [+250]

Well! I'm not disappointed about this world coming up at all.

You start out in Harry's year automatically. It'll be fun to visit the 90s again, won't it?

Slytherin was randomly-rolled. Oh well. I'm cool with that.

I'm looking to reduce my dependence on extraneous tools and actions wherever possible, even at the cost of lowering my overall power. For example, if I hadn't taken Wandless Magic and Nonverbal Specialty then I could have taken 500 CP of other options. Maybe become a much better dueler from the outset and become a metamorphmagus.

But like I said, I want to reduce how many things can go wrong for me. Without those two picks then I could lose my wand, be unable to move my wand in the precise manner needed for a spell, or be unable to speak, and thereby be SOL.

Being a metamorphmagus will help immensely. I expect to spend a lot of time people-watching and learning how to imitate others' little quirks. If I'm not making progress building relations with someone then impersonating a friend is always a valid option in the short-term.

Yeah, I'm a werewolf. Yeah, that's going to suck. I expect that being a Memory Spell Specialist should help if it ever comes to that, but more likely I'll use my Save State if my secret is blown. MSS is more for when I want to do something and then erase all memory of it from those involved. Occlumency will keep my head, and the secrets therein, safe from being poked at.

I'm looking at you, Dumbledore.

It will also help me manipulate people, because "having no tells" is part of the package. That will probably be a lifesaver at least once.

I'll be honest, I don't really care about the freakin' owl. It'll be useful, sure, but I never would have taken it if it hadn't been free.

I chose Middle-class because Upper-class was four times as expensive and I didn't need it that much. Maybe if I were looking at a lot of gear or something. Pureblood, of course, was to cut down on the price of the Horcrux and the Wandless Magic.

The safehouse is no longer listed because I left it behind in the Infamous universe.

***

Oh wow. This is going to be a busy time, isn't it?

Wat do, wat do?

First year is going to be laying down a lot of groundwork. Going to be buddy-buddy with Filch no matter what it takes. He's somebody it'll be useful to keep on my side.

I'm in the danger zone in Slytherin so I'll try to set up a ceasefire with the Weasley Twins. I know about the Map, which I will never tell anyone about without getting their okay, and this is unconditional, but I would definitely appreciate not being a target, in return. Also I can tell them more about the Map's creators, if they'd like. If things go wrong then I'll revert my Save State and try again until I figure out a method that works.

Among a select few, such as the Twins, I'm going to set myself up as a Seer. I want Snape on my side, he's smart and he can be helpful, and maybe I can steer his opinions of Harry a little bit. Via the Weasley Twins I'd like to get a good rep with Harry. I may be able to help him with the Stone, especially since I know what the defenses are. Once I get established I'll try to talk with Snape and explain things to him. If that doesn't work then I'll go back to just before I did that and retrieve the stone myself. If I can't use my cosmic warehouse to just portal down there then I'll just go through the normal old way.

I don't need the Stone. I'm already immortal and I'll find another half-dozen ways of achieving immortality before I'm through with world-hopping, and I don't need the gold, either. All I want to do is keep it safe from Voldemort. And Harry. I mean, frick, I am not letting Gryffindor get the Cup, alright? House loyalty, man.

I'm not going to try to retrieve it from Gringotts, even with the cosmic warehouse transporting me there. I don't want to touch that with a pole of any length, no sirree.

Ron doesn't love his rat that much, so after I'm able to strike up a good relationship with him I'm going to make a trade for something. I'm sure I can find his price, and with the Save State I can make it my first offer as soon as I know what it is. And worst case I'll just work on transfiguring something into a rat that looks just like his. Avifors turns things into birds and is a First Year spell, so turning things into rats shouldn't be that hard. Even if I need an extra year or two to create a rat with a specific look, that's still enough time.

Being palsy with the trio may come via being palsy with Ginny in Second Year. She's desperate for friends, bluh bluh poor Ginny oh no, but whatever. I can be her pal and, again, I can use the Save State to figure out just the right way to approach her (as I've said, Save State is probably going to be my most important investment in any Jumpchain). Once we're pals I'll figure out how to get the journal away from her and hand it over to Snape. Depending on how much he trusts me I'll explain everything that I know (if I can manage it then I'm going to claim to be, you know, a time traveler trying to Set Right What Once Went Wrong) or just say that Ginny was getting Weird over it and I was wondering if he could check it out.

Worst case I'll wait till Ginny goes down to the Chamber and handle things myself.

"Oh, sorry Harry. You're kind of late. By the by, that Tom Riddle guy was behind it all."

I don't intend on derailing the plot like this in every world but dang, I can't just sit here and do nothing, can I?

So the stone is dealt with and so's the journal. By this point I've gotten the rat one way or another, and I'll claim to have gotten curious about it because I saw the name Peter Pettigrew on the Marauder's Map (thanks for letting me borrow it, Gred & Forge, even if I had to sell the remaining half of my soul for the opportunity), checked it out, and saw... everybody else who was supposed to be there, but no Pettigrew. Except that wherever the rat went, so did Pettigrew.

If I can't get Snape to take the rat thing seriously then I'll reload, reveal Pettigrew myself, and then go to somebody. I'll try other teachers before I do that, though.

That's three problems down, and now everything that comes after is a direct result of Voldemort. Oh, and it's time to throw a party and not tell anyone why we're celebrating, because I've now spent as many years jumping worlds as I spent in my first life.

So can I neutralize Moody-Crouch on my own? I'm not going to chance it. Similarly, I'm not going to break Moody out of the trunk when there are probably all kinds of horrible spells on it. I'll go through Snape and Dumbledore to deal with Moody-Crouch. Nothing really bad happens until the end of the year, though, so I'll suggest letting him alone and then, after the Third Task begains, go in, tap the portkey Cup, and drop in a team of aurors (or whoever will listen to Dumbledore).

Voldemort won't be expecting company so soon, and he won't be expecting anybody but Harry. We'll have taken our time till now to figure out how we're going to contain him long enough to destroy the other horcruxes. Harry will... be a problem, but I'm sure we'll figure something out, and at the very least we'll end up with most of the horcruxes destroyed, Voldemort contained (at least for a little while), and

And then? I am going to freaking relax. Oh, and study and study and study and double the size of my library, because I'm not coming back after this for a hundred years or longer. I'll probably be good friends with Hermione (I'll have to convince her somehow that Ron's a horrible choice because dang, they're just a mess in that epilogue, aren't they?) and I may even be able to convince her about the time traveler thing. If she objects to messing around like that then I'll point out what I've fixed so far.

Oh, and I'll probably have some bonding time with Lupin, with the werewolf thing and all. He's my ace in the hole if nobody believes me about Pettigrew and the Map, too.

I will probably also be referred to as "That one kid with the weird curse," since I'm still going to be flipping my Body Mod coin every year.
